what makes them different
Multi•mounts are different from all other standoffs – which typically have 2 parts – a spacer and a front screw. Multi•mounts are a patented 3 part system with A+B+C parts that are sold together as a set and an optional extra 4th part – D parts that are sold separately. Multi•mounts feature unique B and D parts that deliver valuable benefits.
B Parts:
- Give you fast, easy and safe multi-panel capability because the B parts can secure a panel separately from another panel secured by the C parts.
- Give you fast, easy and safe graphic image display capability because when you install or change an image the back panel remains in place secured by the B parts when the C parts are unscrewed. All that is released is the front panel and the graphic image.
With other standoffs, when the image needs to be changed, the front screw is unscrewed and everything comes away from the wall. Keeping the front panel, the image and the back panel aligned during the installation process is difficult and carries the prospect of damaging the panels, the image and/or the installer.
D Parts
- Enable you to extend the standoff distance from the wall
- They also enable you to hold additional panels and provide you with multilayering capacity. This give you many more options to design very creative solutions featuring panels made from a variety of materials with different colours and textures. You can also use a range of other effect such as offsetting panels.
